We are currently hiring for a full-time Barista position located at the United Health Group facility at 11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. This role operates on a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday during the day shift, with no nights or weekend hours, providing a predictable and family-friendly work schedule. The role offers a competitive fixed pay rate of $19.00 per hour and provides an excellent opportunity for individuals with at least one year of barista experience who are looking to work in a dynamic and customer-focused environment.

The Barista position is essential within our foodservice operations, responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and espresso beverages along with related food and beverage items. This role requires adherence to food safety standards following HACCP guidelines, ensuring every product served is safe and meets Eurest's quality standards. The Barista will interact directly with customers, providing courteous and friendly service to create a welcoming environment and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their experience.

Daily responsibilities include preparing espresso drinks using standard recipes and precise measurements, handling transactions with accuracy by entering orders into the POS system and processing payments, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service area and equipment. The Barista must manage inventory by replenishing condiments, beverages, and supplies as needed while ensuring all presentation and portion controls are in accordance with company standards.

As an advocate of exceptional customer service, the Barista also plays an active role in promoting menu items through effective communication and assisting customers in their purchasing decisions. Maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace is crucial, with regular cleaning of equipment, utensils, and service stations throughout the day and after shift completion. The Barista also collaborates with supervisors by relaying customer feedback to continuously improve service quality.
