This position is not responsible for patient care but serves as a vital representative of both the healthcare organization and Starbucks Corporation, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to Starbucks beverage standards.

The role involves preparing and serving drinks according to standardized recipes and specific customer requests, managing cash and electronic payments accurately, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area. Employees in this role are expected to follow strict guidelines for product handling, including date tagging and stock rotation, to ensure safety and quality. Beyond beverage preparation, the barista is responsible for selling bottled beverages, sandwiches, and snacks while providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers.

Given the setting, candidates must be able to meet physical demands such as standing and walking for extended periods, as well as performing tasks that may involve lifting or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The institution promotes equal opportunity employment and values diversity, encouraging applicants from a wide array of backgrounds, including multilingual candidates.

Applicants are required to submit an updated resume demonstrating relevant experience, meet licensing requirements such as a current Utah Food Handler Permit or Food Protection Manager certification, and complete barista training within the first month of hire.
