The Barista position at Sodexo's Keiser University Flagship Campus offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in providing exceptional customer service within a dynamic and supportive work environment. This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, offering a competitive pay range of $15 to $18 per hour. The position requires versatility, with varying shifts and days, and prefers candidates with open availability to best meet the operational needs.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality, hand-made beverages including coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, and fruit blend drinks, tailored to customer preferences. You will serve as the frontline ambassador, greeting guests with a friendly and personalized approach while ensuring speedy delivery of drinks and food items. This role emphasizes not only craftsmanship but also excellent customer relations and suggestive selling to enhance the guest experience. Duties include managing coffee bar and cart supplies, maintaining clean coffee machines and preparation areas, handling sales transactions accurately, and adhering to cash-handling procedures.

The position demands physical stamina and mobility, as it involves significant walking or standing for extended periods, sometimes exceeding eight hours, as well as the ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Attendance and punctuality are critical to maintaining smooth daily operations. Additional responsibilities will vary based on client needs and business necessities.
