The role available is a full-time, non-management position within the Food and Beverage and Culinary category at the W Hotels location on 6250 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, CA. The hourly pay rate is $25.80 and the position is tip eligible. This essential role focuses on supporting the smooth operation of the hotel's dining services by managing opening and closing duties, handling customer transactions through the MICROS system, preparing food and coffee orders, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the workspace. The employee is responsible for ensuring all equipment, including coffee machines, is operated according to schedule and that all dining areas remain clean and orderly throughout the shift.

Additional responsibilities involve managing the cash register with accuracy, completing necessary cashier reports, resolving discrepancies, and securing the cash drawer at the end of the shift. The role also requires compliance with company safety policies, reporting maintenance or safety issues, and maintaining a professional and polished appearance at all times. Employees are expected to work collaboratively with team members, uphold the company’s standards for quality assurance, and contribute respectfully to a positive work environment.

Physical demands include the ability to lift or move objects under 25 pounds, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during a shift, and perform tasks that involve fine motor skills and coordination such as manipulating various tools and equipment. The role also requires mobility to navigate confined or elevated spaces, climb stairs or ramps, and reach overhead or below knee levels. Communication skills are essential for greeting guests and interacting professionally via phone and in person.
