This particular opportunity is for a part-time Barista position located at the University of the Incarnate Word. The role requires open availability across any shift, with specific scheduling details to be provided during the interview process. The pay range for this position is between $13.00 and $16.00 per hour. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy providing excellent customer service and crafting quality beverages in a dynamic and engaging environment. As a Barista with Sodexo, you will engage with guests by greeting them warmly and quickly, preparing both hot and cold beverages such as coffees, espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, teas, and fruit blends tailored to customer preferences.

In addition to beverage preparation, the role involves maintaining an inviting coffee bar appearance, ensuring that supplies and displays are well-stocked and visually appealing. Baristas are also responsible for cleaning coffee machines and work areas regularly to uphold strict sanitation standards. Cash handling, operating registers, and recording sales accurately are important components of the job, requiring attention to detail and integrity. Physical demands include the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, often over 8 hours, and the capability to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
