The current opening is for a full-time Barista position located at Baptist North Little Rock, 333 Springhill Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72117. This role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., including some holidays, with weekend and most holiday time off as a valued perk. The position offers a fixed pay rate of $16.00 per hour and is open for online applications only.

As a Barista at Morrison Healthcare, you will be making and serving coffee and espresso drinks along with related food and beverage items. This role emphasizes adherence to HACCP guidelines and quality food-service standards to ensure safe and wholesome food handling. You will engage directly with customers and team members in a courteous and friendly manner while managing various operational tasks including order preparation, cash handling, and inventory replenishment. This position requires previous food service experience, with barista experience preferred, to ensure proficiency in the craft of coffee preparation and customer service.

The role involves preparing espresso orders using standardized recipes and measures, accurately processing orders via POS devices, and ensuring the timely and efficient service of beverages and food items. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation for all equipment, supplies, and workstations is paramount, as is ensuring that all food is served at the appropriate temperature and in an appealing presentation. Additionally, the Barista serves as an ambassador for the brand by offering knowledgeable assistance with menu items, helping customers make satisfying choices while promoting sales through effective communication and selling techniques.
