The Barista position at Sodexo, specifically located at Rollins College, offers a full-time opportunity with a competitive pay range of $16 to $18 per hour. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and crafting high-quality beverages. As a Barista, you will be an essential part of the Sodexo team, responsible for creating a positive customer experience by preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, and fruit blend drinks. The position requires flexibility with shifts, as availability for any shift is essential to meet business needs.

Beyond beverage preparation, the role includes maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar or cart, arranging supplies attractively, and educating guests about menu offerings to encourage suggestive selling. This job demands physical stamina to stand or walk throughout the shift, sometimes exceeding eight hours, and to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally. Cash handling duties such as recording sales and operating the cash register are also part of the responsibilities, requiring attention to detail and adherence to cash-handling procedures.
