This opportunity is based at PIH Health Whittier Hospital and is for the role of Barista. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time employment options available, catering to varying shifts with days and hours that require open availability. The pay rate is competitive, set at $23.00 per hour. As a Barista with Sodexo, you will be part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality beverages. This role is central to creating memorable experiences for hospital guests, staff, and visitors by serving expertly prepared coffee and tea beverages.

The Barista will be responsible for greeting guests warmly, providing quick and personalized service, and preparing a variety of hot and cold drinks including coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, and fruit blends. Attention to detail and the ability to accommodate customer preferences are essential components of this role. In addition to beverage preparation, you will maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and cart supplies, ensuring attractive displays that invite guests to enjoy the offerings.

Sodexo values health and safety; thus, Baristas must be capable of standing or walking for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, lifting, and pushing as required. Cash handling and sales recording are additional components of the role, requiring accuracy and trustworthiness.
