This role focuses on delivering exemplary customer service and creating the Starbucks Experience for customers. The individual contributor will be responsible for preparing Starbucks beverages and snacks, ensuring quality, prompt service, and cleanliness. This position involves working closely with customers to meet their needs and maintain the highest service standards. As a Starbucks Barista within the company, you will engage in activities that support both daily operations and special initiatives such as catering and café projects. The role requires commitment to a 40-hour Starbucks training and certification program, providing you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in beverage preparation and customer interaction.

Working hours entail opening and closing duties to prepare the equipment and workspace for service, maintaining sanitation and food safety standards, and managing transactions efficiently. The position offers a competitive salary range from $15.90 up to $20.89 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and location. Job Duties

Responsible for general duties in preparing Starbucks beverage and snack items
Responsible for customer service and delivering Starbucks' Legendary Service
Ensure presentation of food/beverages is in line with Starbucks standards
Oversees sanitation and food safety techniques for designated area
Assists with catering needs
Assists with other Café projects
Attends required 40 hour Starbucks training and certify as a Starbucks Barista
Create displays and presentation of novelty items (to go mugs, mugs, home brew coffee, etc)
Processing transactions through the cash register and accurately maintaining daily cash drawer
Preparing area to include setting up the equipment in the front-of-the-house for service
Appropriately suggests product with every customer to enhance service and meet your sales goals
Provides quality beverages, such as espresso drinks and Coffee of the Week, Whole Bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
