This full-time Barista position at Aramark is an exciting, fast-paced role ideal for social, motivated individuals passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. The Barista will be central to providing memorable interactions by preparing specialty coffee and tea beverages, assisting with food preparation, processing customer orders and payments, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The role requires balancing technical skills, such as operating registers and handling cash securely, with interpersonal skills including greeting customers and anticipating their needs.

Additionally, candidates must complete any required food handling certifications and be comfortable with the physical demands of the job, which may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing for extended periods, and using uniforms or personal protective equipment as necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Completion of Food Handling Certification as required
  • ability to work independently with limited supervision

  • previous customer service experience preferred

  • previous barista experience preferred
  • ability to follow dress code and recipes
  • physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions
  • greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
  • prepare and serve coffees, teas, specialty beverages per brand standards
  • prepares and serve food items in line with location standards
  • count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip and make deposits
  • adheres to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures
  • set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations or store including cleaning and sanitizing
  • maintain clean and sanitary work area
  • stock beverage coolers, grab and go items, service ware and condiments
  • follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
  • other duties as assigned by management
