The current role is a full-time, non-management Food and Beverage team member position located at the JW Marriott property at 100 W Trade Street, Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is designed for individuals with a strong work ethic and a passion for hospitality, who can maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor in all guest interactions. The position entails comprehensive opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and equipment, cleaning all areas, and securing the premises at the end of shifts. As a key member of the food and beverage team, the individual will take customer orders, input them using the MICROS cash register system, prepare coffee beverages and food items, and ensure a seamless guest experience throughout the service period. An integral part of the job involves maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas, bussing tables, handling cash transactions accurately, and following all company safety and security protocols. Open availability is preferred to meet the dynamic scheduling needs of the hospitality industry.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals. Tasks demand physical endurance, including standing, walking, bending, lifting moderate weights, and navigating confined or elevated spaces.
