Responsibilities include handling opening and closing tasks such as organizing provisions and necessary instruments, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing the premises. Additionally, the role requires taking orders, accurately entering them into the MICROS point-of-sale system, and preparing food and beverages including coffee. Employees must also maintain cleanliness throughout their shift by cleaning tables, utensils, and equipment; manage transactions including receiving payments and balancing the cash register at the end of shifts, while adhering firmly to the company’s security policies and quality standards.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No relevant prior work experience required
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately
  • Ability to stand walk or sit for extended periods
  • Capability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds independently
  • Willingness to work full time and comply with company safety regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner
  • Basic computer skills for order entry and cash register operation
  • Fluency in Spanish and English preferred

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Comply with opening and closing duties such as arranging supplies and instruments cleaning equipment and areas securing doors
  • Organize replenish and maintain work areas
  • Enter customer orders into the MICROS system and prepare food and coffee
  • Ensure appliances like coffee makers are turned on and off at appropriate times
  • Clean tables work areas utensils and equipment throughout the day
  • Handle cash transactions compute cash register at end of shift complete cashier reports resolve discrepancies and secure cash
  • Adhere to company safety policies report maintenance issues safety hazards accidents or injuries
