Atlantic Fields Club, located just outside Hobe Sound, Florida, is a premier Discovery Land Company property that uniquely combines the charm of "Old Florida" with a laid-back, carefree ambiance. Set on an intimate 1,500-acre community, Atlantic Fields offers members an array of luxurious amenities such as a Tom Fazio golf course, ocean adventures, equestrian facilities, on-site dining, wellness centers, and much more. The Barista position at Atlantic Fields Club is a key role within the Food and Beverage Service Department, focusing on delivering exceptional coffee and beverage experiences. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating memorable first and last impressions of the day, serving members and guests with warmth, energy, and expert craftsmanship. This role demands not only proficiency in coffee and beverage preparation but also an innate hospitality spirit that aligns with Atlantic Fields' high standards.
The Golf House Barista at Atlantic Fields curates unique beverage offerings that highlight local and seasonal inspirations, including ingredients sourced from the AF Farm and fresh regional flavors. This position requires meticulous attention to detail in beverage presentation, consistency, and customer engagement. Beyond daily operations, the Barista supports club events, special activations, and ensures the barista station is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. Working in this role means being part of a team dedicated to operational excellence and delivering a superior service experience to an exclusive membership base.
Ideal candidates will bring prior barista or café experience, knowledge of specialty coffee, and familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude that fosters teamwork, and the ability to adapt to flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends. Physical abilities to perform essential job functions such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying weather conditions are also necessary.

Job Requirements
- Contribute to the Atlantic Fields culture by demonstrating a positive attitude, embracing teamwork, and consistently exhibiting professionalism in every interaction with Members, Guests, and fellow Team Members
- strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and shifts greater than eight (8) hours in length
- ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving for extended periods
- and frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Prior barista or cafe experience preferred

Job Duties
- Experience with coffee and beverage craftsmanship
- maintaining expert knowledge of beans, roasts, brewing methods and seasonal menus
- maintain expert knowledge in the operation, care, and maintenance of all coffee and beverage equipment, including espresso machines, milk frothers, bean grinders, matcha preparation tools, and other specialty beverage equipment
- deliver intuitive, anticipatory service by engaging with Members and Guests, providing personalized beverage recommendations, and accurately processing transactions through the TEI point-of-sale (POS) system
- prepare and serve a full range of espresso-based drinks, teas, smoothies, and seasonal specialties following AF standards and recipes
- maintain consistency in drink presentation, temperature, and flavor profile
- curate, prepare, and promote signature Golf House beverages that showcase Atlantic Fields' local and seasonal inspirations, including ingredients sourced from the AF Farm, fresh citrus infusions, and other thoughtfully selected regional flavors
- support bar and beverage operations during Club events, special activations, and Member experiences, ensuring exceptional service and seamless execution
- ensure cleanliness and organization of the barista station, equipment, and seating area at all times
- follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- manage daily inventory, restocking, and rotation of items
- communicate needs promptly to management
- complete all assigned opening and closing duties while ensuring the Golf House is fully prepared to deliver an exceptional experience for the first tee time of the day
- perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the needs of the Club and ensure operational excellence
