Job Description

The role available is that of a skilled Barista, contributing to the hospital’s patient and visitor experience by delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality handcrafted beverages. The Barista position requires taking precise drink orders, preparing coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks according to customer preferences, and operating cash registers and credit card machines efficiently. Job Requirements
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Prior experience preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards and inventory control preferred
- Completion and certification in the Starbucks Barista Basics Training within 30 days of start date
- Ability to present self professionally with honesty and integrity
- Ability to communicate positively and respectfully with coworkers, staff from other departments and customers
- Ability to learn quickly, think on your feet and handle multiple duties
- Ability to use a computer

Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service while making hand-crafted, quality beverages
- Take drink orders and prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages to customer specifications
- Operate cash register and credit card machines accurately
- Address customer questions and concerns promptly to maintain good relations
- Ensure speedy and efficient beverage delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the beverage preparation area
- Participate in Starbucks Barista Basics Training and certification
