We are currently seeking a passionate Barista to join our vibrant and fast-paced coffee shop team at Homestead. This role is perfect for a coffee enthusiast who delights in crafting exceptional coffee beverages while delivering outstanding customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of coffee drinks including espressos, lattes, and cappuccinos, while engaging with guests to ensure a satisfying, personalized experience. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a barista or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Experience handling cash transactions
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with various coffee beans and blends is helpful
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages including espressos, lattes, and cappuccinos
- Engage with customers, taking their orders, and providing recommendations based on their preferences
- Create latte art and ensure each drink is beautifully presented
- Maintain a clean and organized work area including coffee machines and equipment
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure quality and freshness of coffee products
- Upsell additional items such as pastries, snacks, or merchandise
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued
