As a Barista at Sodexo, you will take on a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while crafting high-quality hand-made beverages. This part-time position located at Curry College involves weekday afternoon and evening shifts and offers a competitive pay rate of $22.15 per hour. The Barista is responsible for greeting guests warmly, mixing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages including coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, and specialty drinks tailored to customer preferences. The role entails maintaining good customer relations, ensuring speedy service, educating customers about menu offerings, and proactively suggesting items to enhance the customer experience. You will also be tasked with organizing coffee bar supplies attractively, cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas, and accurately handling cash transactions. Physical demands include standing or walking for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. Reliability and punctuality are essential, with expectations to show up on time for scheduled shifts.
