The Barista position at Sodexo, located at Bethune-Cookman University, is a full-time role with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour. The shifts include weekday mornings, afternoons, and evenings, with specific details provided during the interview process. - customer service related work experience
- knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control systems
- ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- punctuality and reliable attendance

Job Duties
- Greet all guests and provide quick, friendly, and personalized service
- mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks while considering customer specifications
- maintain good customer relations and speedy delivery of all beverages and food items
- educate guests regarding menu offerings and initiate suggestive selling
- arrange coffee bar/cart supplies and cups/mugs to make attractive displays
- clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, and preparation areas regularly
- record all sales, collect money, operate a cash register, and follow all cash-handling procedures
- stand or walk for extended periods during shifts
- lift and/or move weight up to 50 pounds
- attend work and be punctual for scheduled shifts
