The role of Beverage Experience Associate (Barista) at Bada Bean Bada Booze is a part-time position with a competitive compensation rate of $18.00 per hour plus tips. Shift options are flexible, with availability required either from 6:30 am to 1 pm or 10 am to 4 pm, Sunday through Saturday. Reporting directly to the Guest Experience Manager, this role is integral to the smooth operation and continued success of the café.

The Beverage Experience Associate will be responsible for expertly crafting specialty coffee beverages as well as breakfast food items, managing orders, and efficiently operating the POS system. Mastery of espresso extraction, milk chemistry, and an in-depth knowledge of the signature cocktail menu are essential, allowing the associate to tailor drinks to guests’ needs and preferences while staying current with industry trends and popular culture for engaging new beverage creations.

Inventory management is a critical component of the role, requiring the associate to conduct thorough inventories at the start of each shift, restock supplies as needed, and ensure compliance with all food and beverage regulations, including meticulous adherence to the FIFO (first in, first out) method for food product management.

Operational excellence is encouraged through a flexible, focused approach suited to a fast-paced and evolving environment. The associate must maintain a café ambience that satisfies all five senses, from enticing aromas and tasty drinks to a clean and vibing atmosphere supported by great music and tidy tables.
