As a Barista at Highgate, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service within the hospitality division. This role is hourly and requires the ability to operate efficiently under a dynamic, customer-focused environment. Baristas at Highgate are responsible for preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages tailored to meet customer preferences. They operate cash registers and manage credit card transactions accurately while ensuring that the guest experience always remains warm, friendly, and professional. The position involves physical demands such as occasional lifting up to 40 pounds, standing for the duration of shifts, and continuous reaching and precision work. Successful Baristas maintain a friendly demeanor, communicate effectively with guests and team members, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously to prioritize excellent service. Employees are expected to attend regular training and meetings, adhere to the company’s standards regarding appearance and grooming, and support productivity by identifying areas for improvement and assisting in their resolution.
