We are currently seeking a dedicated Barista to join our dynamic team. This role offers the perfect opportunity for someone who loves crafting quality coffee and beverage drinks and enjoys connecting with customers. As a Barista at New Morning Cafe, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of drinks including brewed and espresso coffee, teas, juices, and smoothies, adhering strictly to our established recipes and quality standards to ensure every cup meets our customers' expectations. Beyond drink preparation, this role requires excellent customer service skills as you will greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service that enhances the overall cafe experience.
In addition to beverage preparation, the Barista will handle cash register operations accurately, manage inventory related to ingredients, maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and cafe area, and actively promote our menu offerings through upselling to drive customer satisfaction and business growth. Following health and safety guidelines is a critical part of the role to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for both staff and customers. This full or part-time position offers flexibility with shifts, including weekends and holidays, accommodating those who seek varied scheduling options.

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve brewed and espresso coffee drinks, teas, juices, and smoothies
- Maintain a high level of product quality by adhering to all New Morning recipes and drink quality standards
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and cafe area
- Handle cash register operations and process transactions accurately
- Assist in inventory (ingredients) management and restocking supplies as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
- Promote our menu offerings and upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction
