The Cashier position at Whispers Cafe is a full-time, probationary role under a union contract, offering a starting rate of $16.81 per hour. This role is essential in providing efficient and friendly customer service, handling transactions, and supporting food preparation tasks within a high-volume dining environment. Employees in this position will work primarily Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, with the possibility of mandatory overtime as outlined in the union agreement. This job requires accuracy in cash handling, the ability to operate a computerized point of sale system, and an emphasis on maintaining a neat and sanitized work area.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of verifiable cashier experience, possess strong math skills, and demonstrate excellent communication abilities.
