Baristas at CSCA Caf will be central to increasing the caf's profitability and customer engagement by delivering personalized service and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the workspace. They will operate coffee equipment including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers, prepare and package baked goods, handle cash and card transactions, and assist in inventory management. Adhering to health and safety standards is essential to ensure a hygienic and safe environment for both customers and staff. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in coffee shop and/or bakery environment preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift 25+ lbs
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- basic math skills
- Food Safe Handling Certification preferred

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages following recipes and customer preferences
- operate coffee-making equipment including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers
- prepare and/or package a variety of baked goods
- maintain a clean and organized workspace including the coffee bar, equipment, restroom, and seating areas
- provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about the menu and retail products
- handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
- assist with inventory management including restocking supplies and reporting shortages
- follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- collaborate with team members to create a positive and efficient work environment
