This particular role is based in Goshen, Indiana, and offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant coffee shop environment within the SpartanNash family. The position involves the preparation of coffee shop beverages and food items, managing cash register operations, and delivering courteous customer service. The employee will be responsible for brewing, mixing, and blending beverages according to set standards, preparing food following established procedures, and ensuring all items are handled safely in a clean and organized workspace.
Key responsibilities extend to operating the cash register efficiently, handling various payment methods such as cash, checks, credit cards, gift certificates, and coupons. Inventory management tasks include restocking and rotating coffee merchandise and displays to maintain appealing product presentation. The role requires familiarity with current store programs, product locations, and proper use of coffee shop and register equipment to maximize operational efficiency.
The coffee shop team member plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and adherence to company safety and sanitation standards while effectively communicating promotions, loyalty programs, and in-store specials to customers. This position also demands compliance with company policies regarding security and cash handling, and support with tasks in other departments as needed to enhance overall customer experience.
