The role of the barista at Saint Luke's is integral in creating a welcoming and friendly environment for both patients and visitors. This full-time position requires the preparation of a variety of hot and iced beverages according to precise customer orders and standardized recipes. Baristas serve as ambassadors of the Saint Luke's brand, engaging customers with individualized attention, educating them about the wide array of offerings, including specialty coffees, pastries, kombucha, gelato, and teas. Beyond beverage preparation and customer service, the barista supports the management team by performing various assigned duties, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the café environment within the healthcare setting. This role demands not only technical skills in beverage preparation but also excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a commitment to contributing positively to the overall patient and visitor experience. Job Requirements

  • ServSafe Food Handlers Certification from the National Restaurant Association
  • Less than 1 year of applicable experience
  • Availability to work full-time during the day shift

Job Duties

  • Represent Saint Luke's in a professional manner
