We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team on a part-time basis, working approximately 10 hours per week. As a Barista at our café, you will be the face of the brand and play a crucial role in creating memorable customer experiences. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in customer service and a genuine love for coffee and hospitality. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and serving a wide range of high-quality coffee beverages and food items with attention to detail and consistency. Operation of the point-of-sale (POS) system for smooth order processing and payment handling will be an essential part of your role. Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the café, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment, will ensure a safe and inviting environment for customers and staff alike.

Customer engagement is at the heart of what we do. You will be expected to interact warmly with guests, accurately take orders, address inquiries or concerns, and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures, safeguarding the health and satisfaction of our customers. The role also includes assisting with training new team members, monitoring inventory levels of stock, supplies, and food items, and collaborating closely with colleagues to maintain smooth and efficient operations during busy and peak periods.

Success in this role requires excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tasks effectively within a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is also necessary, as the position involves standing for extended periods and performing various physical tasks related to food service.
