This role is for a full-time Barista position within Children’s Hospital Colorado. The position requires working 40 hours per week, typically during day and evening 8-hour shifts. The Barista will specialize in the preparation and service of hot and cold beverages that meet individual customer preferences while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Employees in this role will greet customers warmly and courteously, contributing to an overall positive customer service experience. Responsibilities include taking and preparing accurate beverage and food orders, maintaining product stock levels, rotating items to ensure freshness, and executing rigorous cleaning and safety protocols in the coffee shop and prep areas.

The position demands knowledge of food and beverage quality controls and safety regulations, as well as proficiency in operating the cash register system. Accuracy in handling cash with minimal variance is essential. The successful candidate is expected to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the coffee service areas, consistently uphold equipment maintenance standards, and comply fully with health and safety policies.

Compensation for this role is competitive and commensurate with the applicant's experience, with the hourly wage ranging from $16.57 to $24.85.
