Job Requirements
- high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- previous customer service experience
- knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control systems
- ability to work weekends with varying shifts
- capacity to walk or stand for long durations, sometimes over 8 hours
- ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- punctuality and regular attendance
- ability to follow cash-handling procedures
- willing to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- customer service related work experience
- knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control systems
- Starbucks Barista certification may be required
Job Duties
- greet all guests and provide quick, friendly, and personalized service
- mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks, considering customer specifications
- maintain good customer relations and ensure speedy delivery of beverages and food items
- educate guests about menu offerings and initiate suggestive selling
- arrange coffee bar/cart supplies and cups/mugs to create attractive displays
- clean coffee machines, restaurant, and preparation areas regularly
- record all sales, collect money, operate cash register, and follow all cash-handling procedures
- walk or stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift/move 50 pounds
- attend work and show up for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
- perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
