As a Food and Beverage team member at JW Marriott Seattle, you will play a critical role in enhancing the guest experience by performing a range of duties focused on efficient restaurant and café operations. Key responsibilities include opening and closing tasks such as organizing supplies and equipment, maintaining cleanliness of utensils, work areas, and tables, processing customer orders through the MICROS point-of-sale system, and ensuring that all appliances like coffee machines are properly used and maintained during shifts.

Attention to detail and maintaining high standards of cleanliness are crucial in this role. You will be responsible for handling cash transactions accurately, reconciling payment discrepancies, securing the cash register at the end of shifts, and supporting your team members in meeting quality assurance metrics. Flexibility, physical stamina, and effective communication skills are necessary to move between various workstations, interact with guests warmly, and support a collaborative team environment.
