The available Barista position plays a crucial role in upholding the hotel’s reputation by providing exceptional beverage service and contributing to an inviting atmosphere for guests. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality espresso-based coffee drinks and other beverages, all while ensuring a warm and welcoming environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of restaurant experience
  • Ability to carry food and beverage trays safely and professionally
  • Previous hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to stand for prolonged extended periods

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and welcome them in a friendly manner
  • Take drink orders and follow policy regarding service of alcohol
  • Know the menu and be able to explain menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to guests
  • Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared and delivered on time and together
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and good presentation
  • Check on guests during their stay to ensure satisfaction and address requests/concerns
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and bring issues to management
  • Collaborate with fellow baristas to ensure smooth service
  • Comply with all federal and state laws, including the FLSA tip regulations regarding tip reporting
