Its commitment to sustainability, inclusion, and respect for diversity forms the foundation of its workplace culture. Sodexo strives to create a supportive and inclusive environment where employees feel valued and are encouraged to grow professionally and personally. The company promotes a culture of belonging and equal opportunity, recognizing that a diverse team drives innovation and success. At Sodexo, employees are empowered to bring their authentic selves to work, contribute their ideas, and be recognized for their unique perspectives.

This opportunity is for a full-time Barista position based at Sodexo’s Olympus HQ in Center Valley. The role involves weekday-only shifts with specific hours to be shared during the interview process. The pay is set at $19 per hour. As a Barista at Sodexo, you’ll be a key player in delivering an excellent customer service experience while crafting high-quality, handcrafted beverages. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include greeting guests warmly, taking customer specifications into account, and preparing a variety of coffee and tea-based drinks such as espresso, cappuccino, lattes, chai, and fruit blends. You will maintain a clean and organized coffee bar, ensuring supplies and product displays are always attractive and well-stocked.

In addition to beverage preparation, you’ll engage with guests to educate them about the menu offerings and encourage upselling in a friendly and professional manner. Cash handling and sales recording will also be part of your duties, following Sodexo’s strict cash management procedures. Physical demands of the job include standing or walking for extended periods, frequently lifting supplies up to 35 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds, as well as bending, stooping, and pushing. Punctuality and regular attendance are essential to meet the operational needs of the business.

Sodexo supports its employees with access to ongoing training and career advancement opportunities, a flexible and supportive work environment, and a full suite of benefits that promote the wellbeing of its workforce and their families. These benefits include paid time off, holidays, comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage, 401k retirement plans, tuition reimbursement programs, employee discounts, and more. Certain locations might also provide additional perks such as free shift meals, uniforms, safety shoes, and assistance with transportation or parking costs.

Joining Sodexo as a Barista means joining a company with a strong purpose—to create a better everyday for everyone. This role provides a unique chance to be part of a team that makes a tangible difference in customers’ daily lives through excellent service and quality products.
