The role of Barista at Sodexo, located at the Irvine Company - ICAC in Irvine, is a part-time position offering a competitive pay rate of $24 per hour. This job involves working primarily on weekends with varying shifts, the specific details of which will be provided during the interview process. As a Barista, you will be the face of Sodexo’s food service, responsible for creating high-quality, handcrafted beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, cafe lattes, teas, chai, and fruit blend drinks. You will provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and ensuring speedy delivery of beverages and food items, maintaining excellent customer relations.

In addition to preparing and serving beverages, the Barista role requires maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the coffee bar or cart areas, arranging supplies and cups or mugs attractively, cleaning coffee machines and restaurant areas, and handling cash transactions with precision. Physical demands include significant walking or mobility, the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time often exceeding eight hours, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. This dynamic position requires punctuality, reliability, and the ability to perform other duties as assigned depending on client and business needs.
