This full-time Barista position is based at Whitworth University and offers an hourly pay range between $17.13 and $20. Working mornings, afternoons, or evenings on varying days, this role provides a dynamic schedule suited to different availability needs, further information of which will be shared during the interview process. As a Barista, you will be the face of Sodexo’s beverage service, delivering personalized, warm, and efficient customer experiences while crafting high-quality hand-made beverages. This role demands proficiency in making a variety of hot and cold drinks such as coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, teas, and fruit blends, always tailored to customer preferences. You will maintain a clean and inviting coffee bar environment and ensure that supplies and displays are attractively arranged. Beyond beverage preparation, you will be responsible for handling transactions, managing cash procedures, educating customers about menu options, and driving suggestive selling to enhance the guest experience.

The Barista role requires physical stamina, including the ability to walk or stand for extended shifts that may exceed eight hours, along with the capability to lift varying weights up to 50 pounds. Attention to detail in sanitation, inventory control, and food preparation standards is crucial to uphold Sodexo’s commitment to quality and safety.
