Currently, Sodexo is seeking a Barista for their location at Dillard University. This is a full-time position offering $15.00 per hour, providing a fantastic opportunity for individuals who thrive in customer-facing roles and enjoy crafting quality beverages. The position involves varying shifts with a preference for open availability to accommodate business needs. As a Barista at Sodexo, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service by preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages including coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, and fruit blend drinks. You will also be responsible for maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of the coffee bar, educating guests on menu offerings, and handling transactions with accuracy and professionalism.

The role demands not only technical skills in beverage preparation but also interpersonal skills to greet and engage customers warmly, ensuring a personalized and efficient service experience. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, perform repeated movements such as bending and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and navigating busy service environments. Position responsibilities also include maintaining inventory and supplies, ensuring all health and safety standards are met, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the café environment.
