This position centers on providing guests with prompt, courteous service and quality products, primarily in the food and beverage sector within a hotel environment that operates 24/7 throughout the year. The role demands maintaining a calm and professional demeanor even during busy or unusual circumstances, ensuring that the store or service area continues to run efficiently and meets the high standards expected by the company. Employees in this role are expected to anticipate customer needs by being observant and proactive, communicate effectively with management to respond appropriately to store or guest demands, and deliver legendary customer service that enhances every customer’s experience.
Responsibilities include adhering strictly to company policies on cash handling, safety, and security, which ensures the protection and well-being of all team members during each shift. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is essential to allow for smooth operations and to enable quick access to resources and products. The role requires consistent preparation of quality beverages, whole bean coffee, and food products, following all specified recipes and presentation standards. Additionally, employees must follow stringent health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and operational excellence.
Working hours for this role vary to accommodate the hotel's continuous operations, requiring flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed. Regular attendance and punctuality are critical to ensuring consistent service delivery. Although no previous experience is required, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for success in this role. Physical demands include the ability to stand and walk continuously throughout shifts and to lift or transport items weighing up to 30 pounds across busy environments.

Job Requirements
- Ability to transport up to 30 lbs continuously throughout shift

Job Duties
- Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and set a positive example for the shift team
- Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues
- Communicate information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary
- Deliver legendary customer service by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer
- Discover and respond to customer needs
- Follow operational policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety and security
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace so resources and products can be located as needed
- Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently by adhering to recipe and presentation standards
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
