The position available is that of a Barista within the Food and Beverage Operations Department, reporting directly to the Concept Manager. The Barista plays a critical role in ensuring smooth restaurant operations while delivering excellent customer service. The job responsibilities encompass a variety of tasks including greeting customers warmly, taking accurate food and beverage orders, and actively engaging customers to promote menu items. The Barista must maintain high standards of cleanliness in work and stock areas, ensure accurate food preparation and portioning, and operate the cash register for transactions.
Key duties involve preparing drinks and food items according to established recipes, managing inventory, and assisting with kitchen operations such as product assembly, food prep, and the use of blending machines. Additionally, the Barista is responsible for baking duties, including rolling, cutting, shaping dough, and monitoring baking processes. This position requires physical stamina as it involves standing for extended periods, lifting and moving supplies up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive tasks efficiently.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier experience in food and beverage operations preferred
- Strong guest service skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greets customers and takes food order

- Accurately and efficiently prepares/portions food products prior to cooking, from start to final plate
- Operates cash register and receives payment from customer in cash or credit card, accurately counts and provides change to customers as required, and follows all Areas Guest Experience and cash handling policies and procedures
- Cleans and stocks work area
- Assists in locating, reconciling, and verifying the accuracy of transactions and operate equipment with peripheral electronic data processing
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart
- Assists with a variety of kitchen-related functions as needed including product assembly and food prep
- Mix ingredients using a blending machine or manually kneading to achieve uniform mixture
- Roll, cut, and shape dough according to desired sizes before placing in pans, molds, or on sheets for heating
- Place dough in pans, molds, or on sheets before depositing in ovens for baking
- Receives inventory, moves, and lifts food and beverage products and supplies
- maintain a solid knowledge of product and services available in unit
- Stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperature of products
- Cleans and sanitizes workstation and equipment
- Cleans/washes dishes, cutlery, utensils, pots, pans, and all other cooking tools
