Currently, Sodexo is seeking a motivated Barista to join their team at the PayPal facility in Scottsdale. This full-time position offers a competitive pay range of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour and primarily involves weekday morning shifts, though additional details will be provided during the interview process. As a Barista, your role will center on delivering exceptional customer service while crafting high-quality beverages to meet customer preferences. This frontline position requires a friendly, outgoing individual who is dedicated to maintaining customer satisfaction and contributing to an efficient, welcoming café experience.

In this role, you will greet guests warmly and provide quick and personalized service. You will prepare a variety of hot and cold drinks including coffee, espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte, tea, chai, and fruit blend drinks, ensuring that every beverage is made to specification. Maintaining strong customer relations and speedy delivery of beverages and food items will be essential to your daily activities. Educating guests about menu offerings and utilizing suggestive selling techniques will also be part of your duties to enhance the customer experience and boost sales.

This position requires organizing coffee bar supplies to create attractive and inviting displays and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the coffee preparation areas. You will be responsible for handling sales transactions accurately, including recording sales, collecting money, operating the cash register, and adhering to cash-handling policies. The job involves significant mobility, including standing or walking for extended periods—potentially over eight hours—and physical activities such as reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Dependability and punctuality are critical, as you must attend work and be on time for scheduled shifts.
