As a full-time Barista at SodexoMagic located in Merck, West Point, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience by delivering hand-crafted, high-quality beverages with professionalism and warmth. The position, compensated between $17.00 to $19.00 per hour and scheduled for weekday morning and afternoon or evening shifts, offers more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to be part of a team that believes every action contributes to greater purpose and impact. The Barista is entrusted with greeting guests warmly, preparing a variety of hot and cold drinks including coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, tea, and specialty fruit blends while catering to specific customer preferences. Beyond beverage preparation, the role involves maintaining customer relations through fast and friendly service, educating guests on menu items, and employing suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.

In addition to coffee-making expertise, Baristas at SodexoMagic are responsible for creating inviting displays of coffee bar and cart supplies, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and preparation areas, managing cash transactions with accuracy, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The role demands physical stamina, including significant walking or mobility, standing for extended periods which may exceed eight hours, and the ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds occasionally.
