Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to stand for long periods

Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with a diverse customer base
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- a passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing methods and specialty coffee products
- basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and making change
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as required by the business
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages including coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences
- take customer orders, process payments, and provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and positive attitude
- maintain a clean and organized work environment including cleaning coffee machines, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- restock supplies and keep inventory organized to ensure smooth and efficient operation
- operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, troubleshoot minor issues as needed, and report major concerns to management
- collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and maintain a harmonious team environment
- stay informed about coffee industry trends, new products, and techniques to continually enhance skills and knowledge
