The role of Barista at Vitruvian Health involves performing a variety of duties related to beverage preparation and service at the Shaw Bistro, which proudly brews Starbucks coffee. This position requires following all Starbucks guidelines for making hot and cold beverages, providing excellent customer service, and delivering beverages throughout the hospital. The Barista will also perform cashier functions in compliance with cash handling policies, maintain cleanliness of the working area, and complete necessary Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) documentation to ensure food safety standards are met.

Working as a Barista within a healthcare environment means contributing to the patient and visitor experience by providing quality beverages and service. This position is essential for maintaining the welcoming atmosphere of the hospital and supporting the overall mission of Vitruvian Health. Although prior barista experience is preferred, it is not required, allowing opportunities for individuals who are eager to learn and provide excellent customer service. The role involves some physical activity such as moderate lifting, stooping, stretching, bending, and extended periods of standing or walking.
