As a Barista at Sodexo within Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional customer service by crafting high-quality, hand-made beverages that meet the specific tastes and preferences of guests. This full-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $14.00 to $16.00 and primarily involves morning shifts with varying days, providing employees with a dynamic work schedule. Beyond the simple preparation of coffee and tea, this role requires you to engage with customers, educate them on menu items, and promote suggestive selling techniques to enhance their overall experience.

Your responsibilities will not only involve greeting guests warmly and efficiently but also managing the coffee bar or cart by arranging supplies and maintaining cleanliness. You will be expected to handle cash transactions with accuracy, operate a cash register, and adhere to strict cash-handling procedures. This role demands physical stamina, as it requires walking or standing for extended periods, usually the duration of a shift exceeding eight hours, and the ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and occasionally lift or move moderate weights up to 50 pounds.
