- Previous customer service experience
- complete training and obtain Barista certification with a score of 90 percent
- consistent attendance and punctuality
- ability to follow instructions
- ability to learn and comply with cash register system and procedures
- ability to adjust to the needs of the department
- desire to achieve high customer service standards
- ability to work weekends and holidays
- ability to communicate with a wide variety of people including employees, nursing staff, managers, and hospital staff

Job Duties
- Prepares a variety of customer beverage orders such as espresso drinks and coffee of the day to Starbucks standards
- prepares all beverages to standard and hands out quality drinks every time
- follows policies and procedures for operational flow at each station
- follows established safety standards using safe food handling guidelines
- maintains a clean work area and immediate surrounding area
- follows inventory stocking and recording guidelines
- presents oneself professionally and demonstrates clear communication by using Star Skills with all customer and partner interactions
