Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Advocate Health serves nearly 6 million patients and is renowned for its leadership in clinical innovation, health outcomes, consumer experience, and value-based care. The health system is deeply involved in extensive clinical trials and research, with the Wake Forest University School of Medicine functioning as the academic core of the enterprise. Advocate Health is nationally recognized for its expertise in specialties such as cardiology, neurosciences, oncology, pediatrics, rehabilitation, organ transplants, burn treatments, and specialized musculoskeletal programs. With 155,000 employees spread over 69 hospitals and more than 1,000 care locations, Advocate Health also boasts one of the nation’s largest graduate medical education programs, hosting over 2,000 residents and fellows across more than 200 programs. The organization is dedicated to providing equitable care for all and contributes over $6 billion annually in community benefits.
This part-time Barista position is located in Winston Salem, North Carolina, within the 11111 Non Enterprise Corporate Starbucks department of Advocate Health. The role offers variable, rotating shifts averaging 20 hours per week with a competitive pay range of $18.85 to $28.30 per hour. From day one, employees have access to health coverage, choosing from copay or HSA-eligible health insurance options. The position also includes generous paid time off benefits, starting with an accrual of 25 days per year, which can be used for vacations, personal matters, holidays, and sickness.
In this role, the Barista is responsible for preparing a variety of customer beverage orders, including espresso drinks and the coffee of the day, adhering strictly to Starbucks standards to ensure the delivery of quality beverages every time.
