Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED preferred
- one year of barista experience preferred
- current Food Handler's Permit
- basic math skills for making change
- ability to interpret policies and procedures
- excellent organization and planning skills
- solid communication skills
- ability to accept constructive review
- possess integrity and a positive attitude
- ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Job Qualifications

- must enjoy working with and handling coffee and gelato items
- passion for preparing, eating and drinking food and beverages, particularly coffee and gelato products
- basic math skills for making change

- solid communication skills including verbal and listening skills
- ability to accept constructive review and be accountable
- possess integrity, a positive attitude, and be mission-driven

Job Duties
- Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the caf provides
- responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the caf
- confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
- ensures the caf area is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
- delivers excellent customer service to all customers
- prepares coffee and espresso drinks
- samples and serves gelato
- serves baked goods
- receives and stocks product for the caf
- cashiers for products purchased at the caf
- assists as needed to ensure the success of the bakery as a whole
