Job Description
Eurest, a subsidiary of Compass Group, is a global leader in foodservice, proudly serving some of the world’s most respected and successful corporations, including many within the Fortune 500. Located at 7400 166th Avenue Northeast in Redmond, WA, Eurest exemplifies service excellence through its commitment to connecting with people, inspiring through food, creating innovative solutions, and living up to the company's core values. The organization leverages powerful global resources combined with a strong local presence to enrich the communities it serves, fostering an environment that values diversity, inclusion, and ownership mindset. Eurest is recognized for delivering high standards of food quality, sanitation, and customer service across its operations.
Currently, Eurest is seeking both full-time and part-time Baristas to join their dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exemplary customer service while preparing and serving coffee, espresso beverages, and related food and beverage items in adherence to established food safety guidelines, specifically HACCP standards. The position offers an hourly fixed pay rate of $27.00, reflecting Eurest’s commitment to rewarding valuable team members fairly. Flexible scheduling is available, including day, evening, and weekend shifts, which provides opportunities for a work-life balance suitable for varied lifestyles.
The Barista role is pivotal in maintaining the continuity and excellence of the foodservice environment. Duties involve preparing espresso orders using standardized recipes, managing cash and charge transactions through a POS system, restocking supplies and condiments, and maintaining clean, sanitary conditions for all foodservice equipment and workstations. Baristas are encouraged to engage warmly with customers, explain menu items, assist in product selection, and ensure a pleasant and efficient service experience. Physical requirements include the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds, ensuring team members can manage the demands of the role comfortably.
Eurest values team members who bring previous customer service experience and a valid Washington Food Handlers Certificate, though they are also willing to train motivated individuals to grow within this role. Full-time team members receive additional benefits such as an ORCA card for commuting, a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, retirement savings plans, and more. Part-time associates are offered various benefits including health and wellness programs, retirement plans, and voluntary insurance options.
Commitment to workplace diversity and inclusion is central to Eurest's ethos, ensuring that every employee is treated fairly and respectfully, creating a culture where diverse voices thrive. The application process is streamlined, with online applications accepted exclusively, and opportunities for referral bonuses for internal employees. Applicants are encouraged to apply continuously until all openings are filled, with a welcoming stance toward reapplications and ongoing opportunities for career growth within the organization.
The Barista position with Eurest is ideal for individuals passionate about quality foodservice, customer interaction, and working within a respected global brand committed to excellence and community enrichment. Those interested in starting a rewarding career in the foodservice industry can expect to be supported with comprehensive training, work schedules suited to their lifestyle, competitive pay, and a strong benefits package that supports both personal and professional well-being.
