Job Requirements
- High school diploma GED or equivalent experience
- Customer service related work experience
- Knowledge of food preparation sanitation standards and inventory control systems
- Availability to work morning and afternoon or evening shifts
- Ability to walk stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma GED or equivalent experience
- Customer service related work experience
- Knowledge of food preparation sanitation standards and inventory control systems
- Certification required for Starbucks Baristas when applicable
Job Duties
- Greet all guests and provide quick friendly and personalized service
- Mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee espresso cappuccino café latte tea chai fruit blend drinks while considering customer specifications
- Maintain good customer relations and ensure speedy delivery of all beverages and food items
- Educate guests regarding menu offerings and initiate suggestive selling
- Arrange coffee bar and cart supplies and cups mugs to make attractive displays
- Clean coffee machines restaurant and preparation areas frequently
- Record all sales collect money operate a cash register and follow all cash-handling procedures
- Walk or stand for extended periods throughout shifts possibly exceeding 8 hours
- Reach bend stoop push or pull and frequently lift up to 35 pounds occasionally lift or move 50 pounds
- Attend work and show up for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
