Job Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- customer service experience
- knowledge of food preparation, sanitation standards, and inventory control
- ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- must attend scheduled shifts on time
- ability to follow cash handling procedures
- open availability for weekday shifts
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- customer service related work experience
- knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control systems
- certification as Starbucks Barista may be required
Job Duties
- Greet all guests and provide quick, friendly, and personalized service
- mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks while considering customer specifications
- maintain good customer relations and speedy delivery of all beverages and food items
- educate guests regarding menu offerings and initiate suggestive selling
- arrange coffee bar/cart supplies and cups/mugs to make attractive displays
- clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, and preparation areas
- record all sales, collect money, operate a cash register, and follow all cash-handling procedures
- walk or stand for extended periods of time, throughout the entire duration of a shift
- reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds
- attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
