We are currently hiring for full-time Barista positions at the BNY Mellon location situated at 600 Colonial Center, Lake Mary, FL 32746. The position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule with varying hours that will be discussed further during the interview process. These positions offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $15.00 to $19.00, reflecting the candidates' experience and qualifications. Online applications are accepted exclusively.
As a Barista at Eurest, you will play a vital role in making and serving coffee and espresso drinks, along with related food and beverage items. This position demands adherence to HACCP guidelines and upholding the highest standards of quality food-service operations. You will be responsible for interacting with customers and co-workers in a warm, courteous manner, ensuring a satisfying experience for every patron. Duties include preparing espresso orders using standard recipes, accurately entering orders into the POS system, accepting various payments, replenishing condiments and supplies, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the service area. Additionally, you will ensure proper portion control, maintaining serving temperatures, and strict sanitation of equipment and utensils.
Your role will also extend to maintaining an attractive and orderly service environment, including keeping display equipment clean during meal service and ensuring food presentation meets company standards. Core to this job is a commitment to greet customers courteously, serve them quickly and efficiently to prevent delays, and effectively communicate menu items. You will serve as an advocate for sales techniques by assisting customers in their buying decisions and relaying relevant feedback to supervisors. Overall, punctuality, attention to detail, cleanliness, and excellent customer service skills are essential to succeed in this position.

Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enters orders accurately into POS device
- accepts cash and charge payments
- replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- follows HACCP standards
- maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
- cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
- greets customers courteously and interacts in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- relays relevant concerns from customers to supervisors
- serves customers quickly and efficiently, and prevents delays in serving lines
- demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers
- serves as an advocate of selling techniques to the customer by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process
- ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
- serves food neatly and attractively per standard
