At the San Diego Convention Center, Sodexo Live is currently seeking an on-call part-time Barista. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $23.60 per hour and varying shifts that require open availability. As a Barista, you will be the face of the coffee service operation, responsible for crafting high-quality hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, teas, chai, and various fruit smoothies. You will provide prompt, friendly, and personalized customer service while maintaining cleanliness and order at the coffee bar. Duties include greeting guests, educating customers about the menu, suggestive selling, and ensuring speedy delivery of all orders. The position involves considerable mobility including walking or standing for extended periods, sometimes exceeding eight hours, as well as lifting and moving supplies.
