We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at Bean & Gone. In this role, the Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees and teas, ensuring each cup meets our high standards of quality and taste. The Barista plays a crucial part in the customer experience by greeting patrons warmly, taking detailed orders that account for individual preferences, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This position requires hands-on experience with coffee brewing equipment, an understanding of flavor profiles, and excellent communication skills. Job Duties
- Greet customers as they enter
- Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients
- Take orders while paying attention to details e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios
- Prepare beverages following recipes
- Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
- Keep the bar area clean
- Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
