This role is ideal for individuals interested in launching or continuing their careers in hospitality within a renowned luxury hotel brand. The position entails performing a variety of opening and closing duties necessary for smooth daily operations of the coffee and food service areas. This includes setting up supplies and tools, ensuring cleanliness of equipment and work areas, and securely locking doors. The role requires handling customer interactions, including taking orders, processing payments, and preparing food and coffee beverages using the MICROS system. Attention to detail and adherence to company safety and hygiene protocols are critical, including managing appliance usage correctly, maintaining a clean environment throughout the day, and securing cash banks after shifts. Job Duties

  • complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools and cleaning equipment and areas
  • input orders into cash register system and collect payment
  • take orders, record in MICROS system and prepare food and coffee beverages
  • ensure appliances are turned on/off at appropriate times
  • bus coffee cart areas and tables
  • clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment throughout the day
  • obtain change for expected business level and secure bank at end of shift
