Job Requirements
- Works a flexible schedule
- Works a minimum of three shifts per week
- Follows company procedure for communicating time off requests
- Regularly works necessary shifts including weekends and holidays
- Has the ability to engage positively with customers
- Able to maintain physical requirements of the job
- Demonstrates punctuality and reliability
Job Qualifications
- Can create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with strangers for up to five minutes at a time
- Can work carefully and quickly with hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products
- Can work outside for prolonged periods regardless of weather conditions
- Can lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Can stand comfortably for hours at a time
- Can climb a ladder and use a stepladder
- Can stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to stock and clean
- Can safely walk in between and around cars in the drive-thru line
- Can safely use a utility knife
Job Duties
- Converse with customers to confirm their drink orders and key in orders to the point of sale system
- Collect payments and correctly count back change to customers
- Prepare all drinks and premixes
- Move with urgency on the customer’s time
- Stay productive and proactive throughout the shift even when business is slow
- Make personal connections with customers through genuine interactions and positive body language
- Know the menu and drink offerings inside and out and offer suggestions when appropriate
- Dress appropriately for their assigned position
- Be familiar with shift change duties, checklists, and weekly chores and execute them when needed
- Be clocked in and ready to work at the start of the shift
- Treat teammates and customers with respect and kindness
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and sanitation regulations
